Steam selection

If using a gas cylinder:

  1. The valve, which was previously unscrewed, is modified. To do this, its upper part is cut off, leaving only the threads and turnkey edges. A hole is drilled so that a ½-inch tap thread can be cut. Separately, it is necessary to install a suitable diameter hose for the pressure gauge and automatic pressure relief device.
  2. Or, instead of a valve, a safety group from the heating boiler is screwed in through a tee. The tee outlet will be for steam selection, and for pressure gauges there will be no need to weld additional fittings into the body of the tank. This option is easier to make, but a little more expensive.

When using a steamer, a hole is made in the lid, a pipe is screwed in, and a hose is pulled onto it, which is led into the steam compartment.

It is not recommended to install and use a homemade electrical appliance directly in the steam room. High humidity makes its use unsafe. Therefore, the device itself is placed in an adjacent room, but so that the steam supply hose is as short as possible (so that the steam does not have time to cool).
